Evonne Weinhaus
Evonne started her writing career co-authoring two books for parents -- Stop Struggling with Your Teen-- and Stop Struggling with Your Child. She has been an animated guest on Oprah, Today Show and Good Morning America and has been featured in Working Mother, Family Circle and Woman's Day. In other words, she's no slouch as a speaker, therapist or life coach.
First, for parents of teens, then kids, and this time in A New Fearless You her audience are adults who are stuck, stressed out or scared they are going to sell themselves out. Why? Because they’re self-sabotaging themselves and don’t realize it.
Evonne did a lot of homework to write this book. She started with her own life-altering experiences – first a brain tumor, then a broken shoulder, Shingles and Epstein Barr. As a self-professed self help junkie herself, she voraciously consumed many books on the subject. Then she began to explore pathways others might consider out of the norm – talking with spiritual intuitives, astrologers, and faith healers. More down to earth were the people she has counseled over her 25 years in private practice whose issues had one thing in common: FEAR.
And so she started on her own mission, which was to help people become fearless and in doing so get in touch with her own spiritual roots. But how to talk about fear without making people more fearful? With her daughter’s encouragement, she decided to use games as a way to present fears- childhood games we only thought we outgrew but still play. She began collecting stories about people whose fears kept them spinning in circles and conducted interviews to develop the ideal questions to bring our fears to light.
She was relentless with her friends as she tried out new content. She was like a stand up comic, trying out new materials to see what resonated with her audience. Even her trainer and handyman provided fodder for the book!
And in the end? A thought provoking, eight question Hide and Seek process that is masterful in its simplicity but powerful in its impact. It forms the foundation for A New Fearless You with its eye-opening secrets and one word actions that give you an easy-to-follow road map to get more out of your life.
On a more personal note, Evonne’s infectious humor and great storytelling style is a favorite among her friends and family. She has been married to the same man for over 40 years. But lest you think she’s boring, she’s really quirky in person. From her shock of spiky hair down to the tips of her orthotic walking shoes, she is funny and nothing but authentic.
Her favorite TV shows? So You Think You Can Dance and The Biggest Loser. One of her worst fears? That you won’t grow from the book professionally, personally and spiritually.

Cindy Smith
Cindy H. Smith, MA, is an Internet Marketing guru, spending 20 years getting businesses to reach their potential using online methods. As the owner of All About Clicks, a savvy Internet firm, her love for writing is evident in the websites she has written, designed, and massaged to SEO perfection! Her motto: “If you’re not online, how can you shine?”
A recovering skeptic who never believed in self help books before writing A New Fearless You, Cindy’s true talent lies in being able to “kindergerize” complex topics into simple subjects we can all understand and enjoy. This skill has served her well in both writing retail and commercial websites as well as this book. Her co-author, Evonne Weinhaus, is a psychologist, who often resorted to what Cindy called “psychobabble” in writing this book. The end result? Cindy used her dry wit and humor to bring the book down to earth. Enjoy as she says!
Personally, Cindy is the mother of two teenagers and has been married (this time around) for nine years. She is a voracious reader, a passionate decorator, and a collector of people who need rescuing (great fodder for the book).
Her favorite color? Purple.
Her favorite book? The Shack.
Her worst fear? Texting on her cell phone because her fingers are too fat!
